And the site is back!
Here's a massive explanation of what I've done and why, and what's going to change. At some point, I will write a longer post explaining exactly what I did to migrate from #Drupal7 to #Drupal9

Top tip: try to avoid configuring date display formats on dates when the day number is the same as the month number, or the examples will fool you.
Enlightenment came to me on 02/02/2023
Thoughts so far - migration was easier than I thought, once I got my head around #Drupal9. I am lucky in not having a very complicated site.
Didn't bother with the Ubercart to Commerce #migration, because I can just bulk create orders. Quicker and less messy.
I do love the D9 templating system with #Twig, it is a massive improvement over D7.
Now we just have to see how easy it is to maintain in practice
Once that is done, I have to bulk insert subscriptions, set the expiry correctly, and then repeat the whole thing on the live site.
A Small Matter of Programming.

Where I am at with the #Drupal migration.
Pretty much all the content is migrated, and I have working templates.
Because the PHP filter was deprecated, I have had to rejig my subscriber content paywall (which is basically my living). That means splitting out one field into separate fields, which means writing a Perl script to split the field, update the original field and add Subscriber content to a separate field.
This is a bit scary.

I think I have a working migration for #drupal, from #drupal7 to #Drupal9. Now I just need to programmatically create a bunch of orders, handle expiry dates, extract text from one field and add it to another, and add some logic for subscribers. A Small Matter of Programming.
Oh, also, design a theme.
Módulo de expansión ECA para el gestor de contenidos Drupal 9, equivalente al "Rules" però con más actividad por parte de sus desarrolladores. Muy buen trabajo!

Finally I solved the problem with browser not showing nodes if in a language different from the browser's language. Deleted all the languages but the one of the web site. #Drupal9

https://www.drupal.org/docs/installing-drupal/trusted-host-settings
bearbeitet, aber natürlich ist der Fehler immer noch da ..

Vabbè... Risolto il problema dei blocchi orfani nel tema amministrativo sostituendo il tema amministrativo. #drupal9. Poi sistemata la visualizzazione della tassonomia.
Finally finished the upgrade to #drupal9 of https://kinmen.altervista.org Major issues due to downgrade from php 7.4 to php 7.3 solved. I'm tired 😴
Funny. Just found out that by bulk "Save content" every single old imported post of the forum, inserts the nodes inside the old (right) discussion thread which after the migration was still empty, apart from the title. -1 problem #drupal9
Mmm... Maybe I've finished with the CSS of the new website, at least the bade. Still have to check the responsive version. But I still didn't understand what's wrong with the import of the old nodes of the forum. #drupal9
