The instructor came out and went to the back of the farm where there is an 1800s old stone wall around a cemetery in a state of disrepair.

There are some other old stone walls in the woods from the same era on the farm from old property boundaries.

I love a single-skinned dyke. That's a wall that has only one layer of stones, as opposed to a layer on each side of the wall.
