I haven't seen anything with real details but it sure looks like the '75 is a warmed-over TH-74D. Not a bad thing, but the '74 was not full duplex as I'm sure you know.

It seems my callsign is still banned from REF reflectors on #dstar, and I have no way to find out why. Unfortunately there is zero transparency in the main DSTAR REF network, so I'm relegated to XLX/XRF/etc.

Any body with any experience with SDRAngel on Linux? I want to decode DMR/DStar/ect but can't find the DSD (Digital Speech Decoder) in any menu. Is there something special I need to do or do I need something specific to do it?
I am using a RTL-SDR v3, and I can get other things to decode like APRS. I just can't figure out how or where the DSD is.

No: ham radio should be based on open, free standards. There are plenty of free, open, well documented digital modes (#FT8, #JS9, #WSPR, #M17, #PSK, #Olivia, #RTTY) in addition to the oldest-ever digital mode (#CW). Please support ways of operation everyone can inspect, modify, or build a radio around.

Normally I hate to buy RT Systems programming software, but I'm heavily considering getting it for the ID-52A because CHIRP has put it on the "never support" list because it's USB HID not a COM port. #HamRadio #DSTAR

Es gibt ja Leute, die sagen, #DStar wäre altmodisch. Die sehe ich nicht so, seit der Oberfläche mit dem ID 31 und vergleichbaren Funk.Geräten macht #DStar richtig Spaß. Ich habe es voll reaktiviert und mit dem ID 52 und dem IC 705 mache ich es wieder sehr gerne, auch wenn man dafür häufig einen Hotspot benötigt. I am in the market for a 2m/70cm handheld transceiver. I own a FT-4X and want to upgrade - digital included. Commiting to a closed system like DStar or Fusion feels strange for someone who wants to push/live OpenSource. I don't want to rely on a vendors gratitude to use their system. Therefore DMR seems a viable choice. However, the core requirement: a solid device with Yaesu/Icom alike quality.
