because i am spoiled rotten by using RemotePlay via #Chiaki to my PlayStations, i am reading about the #dualSenseEdge controller for the #PS5, doesn't look like i could setup a flip-stick for #Overwatch2 like my #SteamDeck can do, but i really would love to tailor the controls for profiles for #Destiny2 and other games i'm playing lately?

one of my favorite things for Destiny is mapping back paddle so when i hold it down the gyros activate. still not sure if i could do that with the Edge.

Okay, I did it. I bought the Playstation DualSense Edge controller when it was available for preorder. I immediately had buyer's remorse but eventually forgot about it.
It arrived a few weeks ago & I haven't had time to try it out properly. But last night & tonight I have. & wow. It's beautiful to use. The back buttons are such fun. I no longer need to remove my finger from R1 to attack with square or X. I am in love with this controller.

I pre-ordered the #PS5 #DualsenseEdge controller, and I love it. It's essentially like having the #Cronus #Strikepack for the old #PS4 #Dualshock, with a few extra features. It's expensive, but imho worth it. Only grumble is that the button and thumb sticks have a louder click to them when pressed than the standard version. No big deal though. It gets a good 8/10 from me :) :dualshock:

So, Dualsense Edge update:
I have requested a replacement as I'm not happy with how spongy the action buttons are on the device.
The X in particular was incredibly spongy whilst playing THPS last night.
I will update again once a replacement has arrived and I've been able to test it out.
It's a shame, because the standard Dualsense is nice.

The new #dualsenseedge controller for #PS5 doesn’t work adjusting audio for both the 300$ Inzone H9 headset or PlayStation’s official #PS5 Pulse headset as advertised…maybe we have to wait for a new controller firmware or possibly software update 🤔

Initial impressions of the dualsense edge is that it is a good controller.
Battery life is better than I expected.
Back buttons are nice.
Will take a little getting used to the domed tall stick.
Build quality is strong, but not perfect.

Definitely like it though. Probably the best option for a pro controller on PS5
