#DuckDNS 又掛了

Endelig blev mit Internet hos #Fibia sat korrekt op, så min #wireguard #vpn virker igen. Så nu har offentlig dynamisk ip, og ved hjælp af #duckdns virker min VPN, så jeg kan tilgå #homeassistant, når jeg er ude. Med hjælp fra #tasker slår min telefon automatisk vpn til/fra, når jeg er ude henholdsvis hjemme 😅

#wireguard und #duckdns sind ein feines Paar. So kann ich bequem unterwegs meine Photos auf das NAS laden und sichern.

#Yunohost does all of that except for the #duckDNS part, in a very simple, clean interface. I use namecheap's free advanced DNS service and ddclient for the rest. Highly recommended!

What do you need it to do? I went through a similar search a couple of months ago and couldn't find a service that checked all the price/freedom/privacy boxes I wanted—so I ended up writing my own. If your use-case is similarly simple, it might work for you https://github.com/codesections/d5

If I hadn't written my own, I probably would have gone with #duckDNS, but couldn't find enough info about it to feel really comfortable
