Sometimes it's just a picture of a duck
somewhat daily pictures of ducks thread, mostly the same ducks, down by the river. In a month I will be moving, not so far but I don't know if there are ducks there. There is a river so fingers crossed.

Last week I posted about a pair (probably life mates) of ducks who had been making regular rest stops in my backyard for some time. One day only the female showed up, and I posted that I was worried about whatever happened to the male. Well, for two days it was only the female, and then yesterday and today, only a solitary male! Did they get a divorce? Are they not even the same #ducks? I have no answers. #duckstodon
I live near a duck pond, and over the last few weeks a specific pair of mallard and mate have been hanging out in my yard, bathing and napping together. Last night and this morning it was just the female, by herself. I’m worried.
