This week's #MidweekMuseum is the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Dulles, Washington, part of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum. This was the year I went to America and left my camera at home so excuse the old Nokia phone shots. Some incredible craft to see, spent ages looking, and pictured here are an early MiG jet fighter, the Enola Gay, an SR-71 Blackbird, and the Space Shuttle Discovery.

Pretty sure my jet lag is compounded by the BS that is the #IAD people mover. Some guy at #LHR compared it to a "third world country" because the escalators were broken, which 🤦‍♀️. And clearly he has not been on a #Dulles people mover, which is an experience that is cause for violence.

So last week #WashingtonDC extended their Metro to #Dulles #airport ✈️ How did people get their by public transport before that? I'm assuming the #Metro is now the best choice to get downtown

@airlinenews if you are going from #Dulles to beyond DC- like #Maryland suburbs, beware- there are no bathrooms at #DCMetro stations- with transfers- it can be a very long ride.
