Thrilled to day on a visit to Dulwich College to stumble across the James Caird.

The boat Ernest Shackleton and a few companions sailed across the South Atlantic in, perhaps, the most epic feat of courage and navigation. Resulting in saving every man in his unsuccessful expedition to the South Pole.

Ernest lived in Sydenham next door to St Barts Church and walked the two miles to school at Dulwich College every day.
