#SmartHome pro tip: If you’re considering running a #homebridge server because you want to set up a #dummySwitch (https://linkdhome.com/articles/homebridge-dummy-switch-how-to), you can do the same thing with a #smartPlug and not have to run a server.

Obviously this doesn’t scale if you need multiple switches or the other features that you’d get from a server. But if you have limited needs, it’s worth considering.

I’m using a #Meross MS110 #HomeKit plug for this and it works great for my needs.
