The rocky defile guarding the entrance to the ancient fortress of Dunadd, north of Lochgilphead in Argyll. Occupied from about 500 to about 900, this was once one of the most important places in what has since become Scotland. @marvs Have you been to #Dunadd between Kilmartin and the Crinan canal? Where the Scots first set up on leaving Ireland. If you put your foot in the "footprint", you become King! Bizarrely, people were playing cricket just next to it last time I was there!
