Just before #DuneMovie2021 released I re-read the first 3 novels: #Dune, #Messiah, #Children. It took me just under two months of casual reading before bed. Loved it!

Then I started reading #GodEmperor for the first time, anticipating going through the rest of the series over the next year. Fun!

Well, after 13mo I've only just got through book 4. What a slog...

Ironically, it took me so long that I think I need to re-read it to understand the plot again.
