Observations on a very quiet stroll thru the Beech forest of The Province Lands. This is the only area that I had never scoured in all the years of foraging out here. The forest strolls and hikes reset my brain chemistry back into the realm of peace and happiness.

Sand fences protrude from the dunes near the Oceanana Fishing pier in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. They are used to build a protective barrier of dunes between the ocean and the community.
