#dungeon23 #dungeon23jan #dungeon23meta Also, I’ve go some thinking about how I want to handle monsters in a decolonized dungeon crawl that I’m going to try and flesh out. I don’t know how much of that will actually make it into mastodon posts, but they’re worth mentioning up front, at least.

#dungeon23 #dungeon23jan #dungeon23meta For me, this will be as much worldbuilding and setting creation as it is dungeon crafting. Frankly, all dungeons are implicitly settings anyways, so this isn’t really a reach.

The theme for January, for me, is going to be defining the surface region. As such, it’ll be a lot more hexcrawling/point-crawling than dungeon room making.

Instead, I am going to just use this as a kind of focus of daily creativity, without picking a proper system and with each month having a theme of some sort.

I’m going to do this systemless/system agnostic, and decolonized as much as I can manage.
