Looking forward to some #RPG gaming this year. Between the Quest Calendar for some daily adventures and Dungeon Pages for weekly #DungeonCrawling I’ll have my hands full. Both #PnP thoug, which helps.

Ein guter #Dungeon (-Level) verfolgt für mich auch ein Thema und hat eine spezifische Atmosphäre. Einsicht der letzten vier Jahre oder so: #Dungeoncrawling mit #5e macht mir vergleichsweise wenig/gar keinen Spaß, mit #OldSchoolDungeondAndDragons oder #DCC oder anderen #osr Spielen rockt es. Tonight, I‘m running the „Curse of the Maggot God“ Module (Glynn Seal) from the Adv. Anthology I of the most recent #OldSchoolEssentials Kickstarter. A neat little Dungeon sprinkled with Body Horror 🖤 elements. In our first session, my players fleshed out the guild of the sewermen, which hires the PCs to find a missing worker. Result: comic relief, urban dwarves operating steampunk-ish gear and class conscious #dungeoncrawling 🚩 the sewermen united will never be sacrificed to the Maggot God

@Judd played through a whole Range of #Osr modules over the Last months: Winter‘s Daughter, Incandescent Grottoes, A Tower Darkly, The Black Wyrm of Brandonsford and my homebrewed „Secret Shrine of the Venerated Man-Spider“ ☺️ my Players like a Dolmenwood-esque tone which i sprinkle with a little dose of Horror/Body Horror. Low Level #DungeonCrawling leans itself to so many Horror tropes: Places you Are Not meant to go, the dark, creatures lurking in hidden spaces….
