Here's a conundrum for #DungeonMasters: The alleged crossbow traps of Qin Shi Huang's time are the only remotely-contemporaneous description of tomb traps in history. (The deathtraps we DMs create for #DnD games are really inspired by 20th-century fiction.) Most real tombs depended on magical curses to protect them, but if DMs put a curse on every tomb, players will think we're being dicks!
