There is a #Documentary related to #DungeonsAndDragons that I watched and I want to watch it again but cannot remember the name of it all all of my search efforts have failed me.

I'm almost certain that it came out after 2010.

It was about a real life dwarf that made and sold #Miniatures for the #TTRPG.

I believe it also talked about a campaign he had been running for many many years.

Also the name Juggernaut or something similar comes to mind but could be wrong.

Had a player-D&D session today. Been like 6+ weeks since we've met.

The chaos-goblic player has decided to part ways with the table, and honestly... no one is sad.

Today's session was AWESOME. A fun but tough fight, incredible character development between my char and one of the others.

THEN we went back to check on the Chwingas that we helped last session with some staircases to the flower pots.

One decided to come with meeeeeeeeee. I'm so excited

The Icelandic Comic-Con, called #Midgard , is this weekend and I ofc have a weekend pass.

I even registered for a #DungeonsAndDragons (e5) session and played today with a group of strangers. I was kind of stressed before we started but I and had a lot of fun and enjoyed the game. It has been many years since I last played D&D.

So in our next #dungeonsanddragons session, all we have to do is keep the children alive for 12 rounds as venomous snakes with way too much HP use their acid venom to melt our only exit open. And also there's an army outside, and even if we snuck past them there's that Roc that could absolutely spot us. We've just got to keep the kids alive for a minute and 12 seconds.

We are so fucked. At least the kid I want to be emperor is somewhat safe.

Monk managed to escape the grapple and retreat into the tunnel with me, when we got to meet the Roc. It seemed to have venomous bite, so we took care of the beak. Sorcerer on the other hand was about to be fed to the mastiff. I took advantage of Monk trying to pump the baby paladin up to convince him that he should be a hero and rescue our friend. I tried not to celebrate too loudly when the kid died, and the sorceror took the opportunity to escape with us.

Three #dnd sessions ago, we killed a whole lot of guards on the way to the school where Lady Konflict was taking matters into her own hands. Some of us (me) took the opportunity to go full muderhobo and got very distracted, and I took a slight detour to break Lady Korb (friendly neighborhood death cultist) out of house arrest (this was put in place because the worshippers of the god of death DID NOT LIKE FINDING OUT THAT THERE WAS A NECROMANCER)

Four sessions ago, we collected the evidence and the suspects before the Empress Dowager (emperor is a mommas boy. His mom is the one who gets shit done) and explained the whole plot. However, when my restraints failed the situation began to escalate. Lady Konflict managed to flee, summoning the local legion of the army to murder the other children herself. I beat Consort Lilled to death with the snake painting. A fun time was had by all

The first thread of clues wasn't available for us to pursue until a new player joined who could lie without having an anxiety attack. They and I conducted an undercover investigation which revealed that all the more recent murders were part of a plot between the Lady Konflict and Consort Lilled. We were looking for a necromancer, but Consort Lilled helpfully clarified that for us by attempting to kill us with necromancy. #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #rpg #dnd #xuanhuan

I feel compelled to tell you all about how badly our #dnd campaign is going. Just when we think it can't possibly get worse, it does.

Background info: we are in a setting heavily inspired by Han dynasty China mixed with heian period japan. Our party is an official body of advisors formed to investigate the murders in the imperial harem. Over 50 children were alive before we arrived. 12 remain.

I always take a pic of my dice selection before I start a DnD session as I have a habit of scatting my dice all over the place by accident. I use the photo to help me make sure I've picked them all back up.
