Started on the #dungeon23 project today and decided on setting this within Imaskari ruins in the Raurin Dust Desert of the #forgottenrealms. Using #dungeonscrawl.

A few random rolls on the tables in the #TomeOfAdventureDesign and now I've got a dungeon (thanks to #DungeonScrawl), a pin on my #LegendKeeper map, a new cult to protect that dungeon, a couple home-brewed monsters, and a little lore.

My poor 5e-playing jiu jitsu friends ain't gonna know what him 'em. I expect my regular #LowFantasyGaming campaign players will find their corpses at some point...

#Dungeon23 tooling thoughts: This was supposed to happen in a notebook! Why am I thinking so hard over digital tooling?! Technology has broken me!

A little more seriously: looking at #dungeonscrawl for mapping, #ObsidianMD for finalized data entry, and an e-ink tablet for ideation and quick and dirty creation. I'm putting most everything up into Github.

I've stressed about tooling a lot; my brain works best when I have specific tools for specific tasks, and I really want to finish Dungeon 23.

Anyone have mapping assets they like to use with #dungeonscrawl (or any other #map tooling)?

I'm hoping to turn the nice, clean dungeon map I made into an absolute ruin, and vector tools don't quite cut it.

5. Common Room. An ancient well sits along the fall wall with a few goblins and kobolds lounging around it. The Boss Orc has made the raised altar their own space with the use of a few curtains and other debris.

Boss Orc is similar to regular orc but with double the hp, two attacks, and can turn invisible once per day.

4. Training Room. 2 goblins and 2 kobolds are doing combat training being led by an orc.

3. Guard Room. Goblins and skeletons guard the locked doors that lead further in. The hidden goblins attack anyone distracted by the fake door trap or anyone who comes down the stairs. The skeletons will investigate any loud noises and attack on sight.

Room 2. Stone Pathway. An elevated stone pathway connects rooms 1 & 3. Two sets of stairs lead to the floor below.

T1. Any weight over 50 lbs causes the corner of the walkway to collapse into the room below.

T2. A fake door opens to a stone wall full of goblin graffiti.

Room 1. Goblin Den. 2d4 + 1 goblins guard a treasure chest set on a high ledge. The chest contains 19 cp, a ring of iron keys, and a compass.
