An illustration of what it takes to create new designs. I wanted to make a storage box for the walls of my Dynamod Game System. This is supposed to be simple, I know the shapes, sizes, tolerances, I designed the walls myself after all.

It still took 38 printed designs and many more that never left my modeling software ... just for a storage system.

You see the final box, it looks and feels trivial, it's weeks of work to get there.

Great Dynamod suggestion from a Patron: blocked doorways that were closed shut to keep something inside, or to prevent access.

When players knock down the blockade, you can just pop out that part and the archway remains. Very dynamic & modular: #Dynamod! 😁

I finished the Dynamod textured elevated floors and stairs spacers.

I also designed a stability joint that can be used to create a stronger connection between the spacers and your tiles. You can also use this joint to connect spacers together and go really high!

I finished a bigger StageTop table prototype with my Dynamod #DungeonTiles integration. Having it out in my workshop just keeps me playing around with different dungeon configurations even without playing a game. So much fun!

It's wild to think that this entire board game table, combining my Dynamod Dungeon Tiles and StageTop, is 3D printed.

Offering full customization and dynamic modularity, making it possible to print what you want how you want it and assemble it how you imagine it. Then if you feel like it, take it all apart, rearrange it, print more, make changes and assemble it differently. 3D printing has come a long way!

I've just released a new terrain video for folks that are interested in that kind of stuff.

It's a tiny different to my usual dungeon style (still nothing super original though ;) ) - but I kinda like how it's turned out.

(the aim is to eventually have a deck of cards to go with it to generate the dungeon on the fly)

Ran a ranger (with a wolf friend) through a random/solo/test dungeon tonight.

Managed to get 250gp worth of treasure...

Killed a bunch of bugs and a skeleton...

Dodged one trap - but got hit by another...

Then got critted by a skeleton and died 💀

(I checked the room deck, and the very next card would have been the quest room as well - doh!)
