On this day in 2013, I took a 480km journey on CityRail trains in NSW, from Bathurst to Dungog.
Starting out early in the morning at Bathurst station, I took an Endeavour DMU to Sydney Terminal, then a double deck H Set EMU to the old Newcastle station (now closed). At Newcastle, I saw a 2 car K Set on a local Morisset service, before I boarded a Hunter DMU for Dungog.

I must have hundreds of relatives in #NSW especially #Dungog #Paterson and surrounding area. Thomas’s 4 children all married in #Australia and had 62 children between them! Yes you read that correctly, Thomas had 62 grandchildren, most of whom lived to a good age. Here is his son Robert, wearing his father’s medals 3/3 #genealogy #FamilyHistory
