The view of the lovely village of Dunkeld in Perthshire from Dunkeld Bridge over the River Tay. The village was rebuilt after being largely destroyed in a battle in 1689, while the bridge was built by Thomas Telford in 1809. Apparently it is #WaterfallWednesday so here is our waterfall at the River Braan from today at the Hermitage near #Dunkeld! With heavy rain overnight and snowmelt it was an impressive (and loud!) sight!

Trip to the #Hermitage near #Dunkeld today :D We had planned to do the Inver walk but given the snow and ice we did a shorter route taking in the waterfall, Ossian's cave and seat, a folly and Pine Cone Point :D Photos aren't great, we were on the wrong side for sunlight 😂

Chilled-out day in Dunkeld, white over. Tried to visit the Hermitage, but the car park was snowed up and my poor car was just spinning like mad. So ended up in Dunkeld for lunch and a mooch about. Might be time to think about a 4x4...
