That's why I've been using #Duplicati in a docker container until now.
And it came as it had to come, my Duplicati database became corrupt. This seems to be a very common error for Duplicati due to its design.
Repair did not work. Fortunately I did not lose any data.

So it was time for a new cloud #backup solution for me.

Sigo avanzando con el NUC ahora estoy instalando #duplicati para hacer las copias de seguridad en Google Drive.

No lo había usado antes pero veo que es bastante sencillo hacer la configuración y que además permite copias en local y copias en la nube.

Ich habe verschiedene Varianten getestet, um z.B. mit #Duplicati oder #FreeFileSync auf externe Medien zuzugreifen.

Unter #Linux ist es sowieso kein Problem, immer den korrekten Pfad anzusteuern aber jetzt habe ich auch für #Windows eine einfache und nach meinen Tests verrlässliche Lösung, um einem best. Medium einen festen LW-Buchstaben zuzuweisen - egal welcher #USB Slot gewählt wird etc 🤗:

Ok, I forced myself to throw in my extra 2TB drive, mount it via FSTAB, compose a #duplicati container, and I'm off to the races. At least now I have automated #backups of the "irreplaceable" data on my server, including some TV series that I ripped from #DVD. Don't want to have to redo that!

I really need to plug up this extra 2TB drive and get #duplicati backing up some things.... So #lazy this week.....

@ariane Je tourne avec script basé sur Borg mais là je suis en train de tester #duplicati qui est pas mal (GUI) mais lent.

Je pense qu'ils vont l'améliorer, faut patienter.

@Photor Das waren auch mal meine Gedanken. Inzwischen läuft die #nextcloud doch bei mir zu Hause und ich sicher diese aller 3 Tage via #duplicati auf ein #StorageShare von #hetzner . Natürlich alles entsprechend verschlüsselt. Mit einem Ausfall über ein paar Tage und das Einspielen eines Backups kann ich im Privatbereich leben.
