Rotation does matter:
The ride #duration (a.k.a. #pathlength of a #worldline segment; or "proper time") of a child circling in a carousel 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 the corresponding wait #duration of a parent "standing by".

In contrast, #clockrate and whether/which #clock "ran faster/slower" than another is only secondary; calculated from comparisons of durations, and from Δ of readings.

On the Nature article:
"clocks that tick at the Moon's natural pace" is a disaster, IMHO.

The films of Taiwanese director Tsai Ming-liang can vary quite a bit. There is the absurd "The Wayward Cloud", the quiet "Vive L'Amour", "Visage" set in the Louvre. But regardless, there is one constant element: Lee Kang-sheng. Watching Tsai's films chronologically is a slow observation of the gradual and unstoppable progression of time in ourselves.

Béla Tarr's last film, The Turin Horse (2011), is perhaps as bleak as it can get on screen. His entire oeuvre feels like an onion of which he peeled off one layer after the other with each new film. With The Turin Horse he achieved an astonishingly expressive film about the human condition that goes under the skin.
