Over the past two months our winter virtual tour of Scotland has progressed from Dumfries in the south to Durness in the north and today it concludes at Smoo Cave, at the eastern end of the village. The only day this week when it hasn't been bitterly cold and blowing a hoolie, so Moray and I took the opportunity to head up the hill behind the cottage. Beinn Ceannabeinne is only 383m but because of its location it is a fantastic viewpoint.
