Following up from my post a few days ago about how I was a heartless bastard and made whole families of #DustBunnies homeless ... here's a chart of #PowerConsumption over the last month. Peak power draw with dust bunnies: 32W. And without dust bunnies: 54W. So running cooler, but capable of turning more power into computrons when needed. #ThermalThrottling

#CPUusage on this machine over the last week. As you can see there's an overnight job that maxes out all the cores. Can you guess when it was that I evicted the #DustBunnies and it stopped #ThermalThrottling?

Pro tip on air cleaner filters. TRUST THE TIMER. Or if you’re going to ignore it, set yourself a reminder. This helps avoid dust bunny explosions when you do finally change them.
