Thx for the insight. I have to say that it impossible to keep up with the socio-political development of the whole world (I try, therefore my frequent boosts of news from the global south).

My impression was that Duterte/Marcos are really conservative, trump/bolsonaro-style politicians.

But apparently, Philippino society is also on a good way regarding minority rights. Or is Quezon city an exception?
