a friend gave me about 2 kilos of #leicester longwool roving for my birthday in 2019. it was a beautiful natural gray, but was so full of slubs and neps that spinning it was (for me) an unpleasant chore.
i #dyed some of it dark green and some of it a dark cherry red (it holds the colors gorgeously), and then flicked it out and carded the green back with some undyed gray for a green heather. the yarn has a very rustic hand, but i like it better than i expected.

Hand Dyed Paper
This is a side project of mine. Since January much of my work has needed texture assets to have the right effect. I’ve made quite a few using photoshop tutorials from bluelightningTv or gotten from Texturelabs (who provides some amazing ones for free!) But for my next project I needed something more.
