How do I know that folk's emotional attachment to the #dyingbird site is a disease / mental illness? About 2 weeks ago, I wrote a ranting thread detailing out all the things I loathed about the site and why this was my swan song. #teampete -- I think one way to gain amplification of Pete's political messaging (as opposed to his official statements as Secretary of Transportation) would be to circulate them with a #ContentWarning .

These basically serve as headlines.

A substantial number of #Mastodon users expect them, and @feditips requests we use them. (I am doing a poll on this--as of today, 40% say they want #contentwarnings)

One of the ways this place is different and better than the #DyingBird, imho.
