#NewReleases - #Obituary - #DyingOfEverything (2023-01-13). These Floridians have been doing the death metal rattle since the 80s. On this, their eleventh LP, the band’s growls and chops satisfy my sometimes morning urge to shock the houseplants out of their winter torpor. Core members Donald & John Tardy and Trevor Peres underscore the band’s sound, which along with plenty of shred contains a nod to Alice in Chains on tracks like “Be Warned.”
