Before I go to marktplaats, anyone in/around #Amsterdam interested in buying my #prusa #mk3s+? I’ve upgraded to a MK4. Why buy this one rather than directly from Prusa? 1) I built it from a kit so you know it’s good 2) I installed an #e3d #revo hotend so you can easily switch out your nozzle without a wrench. I’ve even updated the firmware to the current version which supports the revo. #3dprinting

News suggesting #BambuLab will be releasing some kind of component, possibly a hot-end for printers. Possibly allowing the AMS to be used with other printers.

Risky move, as we know how easy it is to get a hot-end wrong, and with #E3D is #BIQU, it is a competitive space.

As the AMS doesn't support abrasive filaments, I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't.

So here is my initial upgrade for #Prusa #MK4: an #E3D #NozzleX and a silicone sock. The nozzle changing experience was straightforward. And of course the automatic first layer calibration makes ever easier

For those that use #OctoPrint, how many of you would love to have a #plugin that allows you to configure several settings relative to your Nozzle and/or Hotends?

Now that swappable Nozzles and Hotends are a thing; it seems like it would be nice to adjust temp settings on the fly.

After a 5 hr print on my Ender 5, I left the printer to cool down and auto shut off. Came back to it to print again, but now when I turn it on, I immediately get a "maxtemp triggered system stopped heater_id: bed" error and it locks up.

Probably dead board? But the #E3D heatercore is also acting up.

Anyone else deal with this before? #3dprinting

Decided to print the E3D test spider - but make it multicolor.
- No tweaking of Bambu X1C settings - just default PLA for each color.
- PolyTerra black and white, some cheap brand Red (forget which…)
- Manually colored within Bambu Studio and AMS for multicolor.
- Roughly 2.5hr print.

Bridging isn’t perfect, but I like it.

w00t! Just upgraded the Prusa mk2.5 to a Revo. It works! It hasn't leaked! Nothing exploded!

Would NOT have managed by myself though. Happily hand-strength, mad skills and extreme bravery were supplied by @leb 💜
