I don't have personal experience with other neighborhoods but I've found #eagleriver surprisingly walkable if your able to find any housing near the city center though it gets old and no convenient busses makes it hard to get to town https://www.destinationumedstudy.com/

On brighter news my post on the #eagleriver #anchorage nextdoor showing support for #LGBTQI in our supposedly all conservative town has almost 40 likes which is much more than any of Jammie Allard's posts. Not that likes mean anything but it at least makes me feel better when I can feel like my community has at least some compassionate people

Meanwhile Jamie Allard of #eagleriver #anchorage can't respond to any of my constituent emails during the #akleg session but is more than happy to spur up anger about people actually trying to help their community

Trying my hand at stirring up some local action. Printed off 30 or so flyers for a meeting that my anchorage assembly person is putting on about housing challenges and zoning reform in #eagleriver and put them on the porches of a bunch of my neighbors. Included my mastadon just in case it helps anyone find the instance #strongtowns #waroncars #urbanism #localaction
