Early America and Hanoverian Britain peeps: are you working on the cultural/legal/economic dimensions of social emergencies (famine, plague, fire, invasion, mutiny, riot, etc)? Hoping to connect if you are!

DM me or respond — would love to talk more.

My book, The Gaelic and Indian Origins of the American Revolution, came out this year, as did Bone and Marrow/Cnámh agus Smior, a co-edited massive anthology of Irish-language poetry (including translation—if you’re curious about Irish sources, check it out!).

Hanging with my buddy John Fitch! Spent the afternoon giving tours of the Steamboat Museum at the local historic site where I volunteer. Craven Hall itself has expanded over the years, but the original house with the hearth we still use for coping demonstrations was built in the late 1700’s.
