Thinking about stretching my earlobes more and I have a big question!

Is listening to music on over-ear earphones is still comfortable with 20mm earlobes?

Currently I have 10mm on each earlobe.

Is it silly to still be mad that my mother and brother forced me get an when I was a back in the 90s?

For context, this happened at home in the kitchen and they did the piercing using a large needle and used an ice cube to numb my ear lobe.

I got my conch pierced back in September (inside of my ear) and just when I think it's no longer painful I'm wrong. I have 7 piercings (used to be more) and my conch and helix have been the most painful to heal.
