New paper led by Shannon Mason: "A unified synergistic retrieval of clouds, aerosols, and precipitation from EarthCARE: the ACM-CAP product". It's the first paper to fully describe our CAPTIVATE algorithm, which has previously been applied to ground-based, airborne & spaceborne (A-Train) radars, lidars & radiometers. The retrievals from the forthcoming #EarthCARE satellite will help us understand the role of clouds & aerosols in the climate system.
