Yesterday, we as concluded the ( EW) sampling.
Sometimes challenging in the alpine sites: 1) due to the steepness, and 2) due to interrupting and VERY curious horned fellas 😅
Looking forward to the results!

Last fall I mulched some with a good layer of dried leaves that have been chopped finely and watered with aerated tea from worms.

When I came to weed those trees an impressive amount of worms were working to break this down. The tree has never bloomed so much more than this year. It confirms to me that eat carbon and drop nitrogen and nutrients for the trees.

beds will be created using this mulching method in the future.

The French scientist Marcel Bouché has spent his honorable career studying earthworms and has demonstrated through various studies that by eating carbon what gets out of their digestive system is nitrogen that the veggies and plants use to grow.
