Time for another supermarket Hot Cross Bun, this time it's the Deluxe Apple and Cinnamon Hot Cross Bun from Lidl (of the glorious pastry aisle).

Mum's score is 8/10 - nice bun, good flavour, you can actually taste the cinnamon, but not enough apple and a wonky design

I give it an 8/10 too - nice amount of apple, orange infused sultanas and the cinnamon isn't hiding.
