Eastern Germany, a region that relies heavily on coal for power generation, is expected to become Europe’s largest clean energy hub. The plan is to build up to 14 GW of wind and solar energy, 2-3 GWh of battery storage and 2 GW of green hydrogen production. Alright here we go.

It was in 1992, when #Russian was still mandatory for kids in #EasternGermany to learn, but nobody wanted. At this time, our family bought the first satellite dish, and we had #CartoonNetwork. I loved it, and started to watch it every second I could spare. By time, I understood, and later on, I tried to mimic the words and phrases. Than came watching movies in English, and by now, I'm #translating my books!

I am very happy to be able to do research again! In the research project Elitenmonitor - Personal Underrepresentation of East Germans in Central Leadership Positions: Temporal Development, Mechanisms, Options for Action, together with the University of Leipzig and the University of Jena, we will be investigating the representation of East Germans in top positions in politics, business, administration, etc. over the next three years.
