An eastern wood pewee (Contopus virens) in Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in late May. These breed in the eastern part of the continental US. They hunt flies by flying out and grabbing them out of the air, then returning to the same spot.

The only time I've seen an Eastern Wood Pewee (at least that I know of). I have a really hard time identifying flycatchers but a more experienced birder helped me out.
Love that about the bird community. Most are eager to share and educate others.
