@darylbaxter I’m not sure that is the issue. #epicgames #easyanticheat has full #linux support. I think the issue is the #developers don’t want to support #linuxgaming and the anti cheat isn’t working in proton. Essentially, games you play on #proton are the #windows version of the #game.

@darth #Proton has been amazing for #Linux #Gaming and I almost made the plunge a few weeks ago. But I found out that the #EasyAntiCheat for #DeadbyDaylight isn't implemented on Linux which was a deal breaker. :flan_piteous:

apparently, lots of accessibility tools making quality of life, control and social interaction easier for disabled people was done primarily using mods (i.e. modified clients which EAC prevents from loading). Features like advanced closed captioning mods, or mods for the visually impaired people, are now practically non-existent.

Why they removed this while not improving their own game's accessibility tools is honestly shocking to me.

Though there hasn't been an official statement yet, it looks like #EasyAntiCheat is enabled for #Back4Blood on #Linux now. So we can play it on the #SteamDeck [+°| |°᠅]!
