Great! Replacing the mainboard in the #EasyThreed K7 with the ET-4000+ version means I now have a configurable @marlinfirmware build option. #3dPrinting

Received a replacement ET-4000+ mainboard for my #EasyThreed K7 #3dPrinter, to replace the mysterious CF-M12 board that they won't give me the Marlin source for... toy printer should be back in action again (probably, next week).

The #EasyThreed K7 doesn’t appear to be working (not sure how I broke it…), and the touchscreen on my #OctoPrint setup has stopped responding to touch, so - that all needs sorting out - frustrating.

@Stark9837 @3dprinting … ah, although it needs Klipper on the printer itself, and I’m not sure that’s possible with either machine (especially the #EasyThreed K7 where they are unwilling to share the #Marlin firmware source for my mainboard 😡)

Today: upgraded #EasyThreed K7 to heated bed, fiddled with #FlashForge Adventurer 3 (failed print), set up #MQTT for power state from studio -> home broker, booked dentist checkup, sat on infuriating & pointless webinar.

Tomorrow (plan!): more #AgonLight fun, some writing, and (hopefully), some pull requests to a couple of interesting OSS projects.

Today: mounted custom-made whiteboard on studio desk, tinkered with $other things, and got my #AgonLight board booted and running. Also, a heated bed for the #EasyThreed K7 arrived (to be installed another day).
Tomorrow: brunch with a friend.

Today: SKADIS mounted in shelves on #3DPrinted brackets; and, OctoDash set up on Pi with #EasyThreed K7.

Tomorrow: hacking random dev boards (and probably talking about 3D printers) at @makeroni meetup.

Trying to persuade the vendor of the #EasyThreed K7 #3DPrinter to share the @marlinfirmware source code for the build mine is running, is proving challenging 😥 will try to explain what I want more clearly. Board is labelled “CF-M12” but web search is drawing blanks on that.
