Okay, having found an apartment (yay! whew!!!), I'm going to want an errand/commute bike, since most of my shopping/errands etc will be in easy range. Need to start thinking about ebike vs analog though. Inclined to stick with analog. Will start trying some out over next month or so.

(Maybe both? But not sure my budget will allow that. Maybe I sell my fancy road bike? 🤔)

RadWagon 4 Review! I really like this bike, and I love what it's trying to do.

I don't live in a walkable area, but many of the places I go aren't super far away. An e-bike makes it easy enough that I don't feel the need to use my car for a lot of trips.

I used the bike for taking my son to school and nearby parks, trips to the coffee shop with my girlfriend, picking up random things from Target, and more. #ebike

Eine Frage zu meinem #ebike: Seit gestern wechselt es während der Fahrt wild durch die Gänge, mehrere auf einmal, woran kann das liegen? Habe mein Fahrverhalten nicht geändert.

Die Internetsuche ergibt "Materialverschleiß" aber es ist erst eine Woche alt. Ich fahre fast ausschließlich im höchsten Gang, weil ich selbst da noch eine recht hohe Tretfrequenz habe. Vor Ampeln vielleicht mal 1-2 runter. Mache ich was falsch? Mache ich mein #Fahrrad kaputt? Wie kriege ich das Problem behoben? Gerne RT

@ukuku the big boys will always be “late”. They won’t step into a market until it’s been proven. They will then come to dominate it, eventually pushing out the ones who created the sector.

I can remember the days when the big bike brands shunned the emerging #ebike market, saying it was a fad.

There are still many shops who will not commit to #ebikes, cus “they’re cheating”.

The bike biz is not bulging with brains!
