One thing that's always bugged me. The opening sequence to #DonnieDarko, set to this, was so brilliant at the cinema. Then it got replaced by INXS on the directors cut and it was downhill all the way for Richard Kelly.

Anyway, top song, but there is one more to come.

I mean, it was always gonna be this one, wasn't it? As Mac himself declared, the best song of all time. I'm not sure I quite agree, but the song itself is a great argument in its own favor.

How do you top album opener "A Show of Strength"? With this even darker tune. The synths seethe, the guitar and bass churn, the drums fucking explode, and the vocal is just perfect maudlin madness.
