@ami #OpenSource is good, but #ORC is a distraction -- there are already perfectly good licences like #CreativeCommons that are used for many highly rates RPGs such as #Fate, Dungeon World (#PbtA), Blades in the Dark (#FitD), #Gumshoe, #EclipsePhase, and #Ironsworn.

There is no need to waste months and months of development when something already exists that meets their criteria.

For example, the 1st edition #ADnD DMG extracted fine first past but the Player’s Handbook did not. That sort of problem, then the OCR problem and others.

So an interest place to start going back the other way will be games that have actual text versions whether html [eg epub and websites], mobipocket, text files because of their age like #FUDGE and others.

Some that spring to mind – #SineNomine – #StarsWithoutNumber et al., #EclipsePhase, #DungeonWorld.

@HeyeBodo I left for the usual reasons: university, people moving to different cities, etc. With the exception of some D&D one-offs (the usual lowest common denominator) I haven't gotten back in, regrettably. As #ActuallyAutistic I *hate* getting to know new people, so it's a chore I only want to tackle for something that's worth it; in my case something sci-fi, e.g. #EclipsePhase, #Alien, #Cyberpunk, #TalesFromTheLoop, #ThingsFromTheFlood, or #Numenera, which tends to be a good deal more niche than the usual Fantasy stuff, making it even harder to find people... #LFG #TTRRPG #Cologne #Bonn #Germany ;-)

@nerdybutcute Agreed, if I want #Transhumanism I go for #TranshumanSpace or #EclipsePhase; From #Cyberpunk I expect a universe where the only choice I have is in what exact way I'm fundamentally, irrevocably, inevitably fucked.

What is the coolest #TTRPG that you own that you haven't had the chance to play yet? For me, that would probably be #TranshumanStudios' #EclipsePhase, a post-apocalyptic transhuman sci-fi setting in which the survivors of a planetary disaster on Earth have spread across the solar system. The setting is vast and allows for everything from political maneuvering, to space exploration, to action/adventure, and cosmic horror. #SciFi #Transhuman #Transhumanism #RPG

Ugh, more scheduling related issues for at least one possible #eclipsephase player. I feel like the minimum player number is so close but I'm still not there yet.

Good news is the one big maybe player is very interested and really will push hard to join.

@em_7dice Indeed. I'm gonna give a shout out here to #DungeonGames in #NaplesFL. It's an #LGBT friendly store run by Josh Petrik. At the moment, it's still heavily dependent on sales of Hasbro/WotC product, but that can easily change. I buy my #DCC and #MCC stuff from there and have special ordered #EclipsePhase books as well.
