I would like to emphasize how the authors of this paper use the term #socioecology, instead of calling #social or #sociological environments #ecologies, which is wrong and far too popular among the wanna be intellectuals in creative circles, like #art and #museum creatives, it adopts an understandable scientific phrase. The paper itself is also great.

My 2¢ addition: in an urban 🌎 growing food is a way to reconnect, to #observe & interact with #nature directly. To see interconnected life, the #balance of #ecologies, to see #firsthand how #microclimates work. It is a lot harder to deny these mechanics on the #global scale when you are a part of them on the micro scale daily. Those #systemic ideas spill over into every other part of life, which CAN effect #poverty
