Inspired by youtube.com/@LifeinJars I took my kid to create a pond ecosphere in a jar. It was fun and just by scooping a bit of sediment and some fiddling, we got a lot of small animal life in there (snails - probably Bithynia tentaculata, unknown small beetles, nematodes, tubifex and other worms, a bunch of larvae). Hope they'll all be doing well in there.
