Hello, Weekend, I've missed you terribly 😘
For #FridayReads I'm finally, finally able to sit down for more than 20 minutes here and there to finish Hummingbird Salamander. It takes a bit of time getting comfortable with the flow of the narrative, but once there it's turning into a thought-provoking #EcoThriller which I have absolutely no idea where is taking me. I dare predict it's not my last VanderMeer read.

@simonkewin A cosy #SolarPunk / #EcoThriller mystery that works well as a distant prequel for Synthesis:Weave - it's set in the same universe, but is effectively a standalone. That way, I'll be able to attempt selling it to a publisher without it seeming like part of a series.

I haven't spent a lot of time on it though, as I'm also trying to get into game development: working on a card game that ties in with the SW books.
