In search of good #solarpunk stories!

Can you recommend a good book, audiobook, TV series etc.? I'm a relative beginner in the genre but absolutely fascinated. My first contact wirh #solarpunk was reading the novel "#Ecotopia", which left me hungry for more!

Specification: I'd really like to avoid stories including detailled descriptions of violence. (Usually, I watch series rated 6 or 12 only, for this reason.) However, I do not mind seeing naked bodies, consentual kissing / sex, or figures in the story dying from natural causes.

I like storylines focussing in friendship, personal development, community and travels. A #queer storyline woyld be great, too!

@alexis8nicolas je continue d'avancer dans #Ecotopia et continue d'être bluffé par la quantité de concepts que l'auteur aborde : banque centrale, capital des entreprises, taille des entreprises, sens du travail, messages informatifs vs publicité incitative, éco-conception des contenants, des habitations, ...

Beaucoup de ces utopies font partie de nos réflexions actuelles, c'est fou de se dire que ce livre a 50 ans.

J'ai démarré le roman #Ecotopia, un roman d'anticipation d'utopies écologiques (et pas que, je pense par exemple à l'expression des sentiments, à la capacité à aider et à demander de l'aide, ...)

C'est bluffant d'idées plausibles, parfois très précises. Des idées qui touchent tout les couleurs des vêtements, la réparabilité des objets, les transports, ...

C'est d'autant plus bluffant que ça a été publié en 1975. 1️⃣9️⃣7️⃣5️⃣❕

La description de ce monde utopique est assez impressionnante. L’auteur a vraiment potassé son sujet. Et malgré l’absence totale d’intrigue, ca se lit tout seul. #Ecotopia à mi-parcours #mastolivre

Finished Ecotopia. It was an interesting experience. Found myself smiling at the end of it. The hope for a better world that pervades it, and the things that people will do to get there.

I wish it actually had a chance of happening.

@tinderness @sventetzlaff ich empfinde das im Fall von Solarpunk einfach sehr konstruiert, irgendjemand hat damit angefangen, nach den Wurzeln des Solarpunk zu suchen und seit dem werden diese Romane immer wieder zitiert (wie #Ecotopia). Als Solarpunk vor über 10 Jahren aufkam, hat aber niemand von diesen Büchern gesprochen. Und ja, natürlich haben ältere Romane immer Elemente, die irgendwann zu neuen Genres gehören, aber bei "Solarpunk-Klassiker" rollen sich mir die Fußnägel hoch ^^
