Had a great time presenting my paper on the legitimacy of the Czech Republic at #ecprgc23 in Prague. Prague is beautiful. The presentations and conversations in the Law & Courts Section panels were incredibly enjoyable! @PopovaProf gave a very timely Keynote on the dynamics of Russo-Ukrainian War and its implications for political science (I guess, I should change my bio from "postcommunist politics" to something else, thoughts?)

Back from #ecprgc23 in Prague, my first #ecpr general conference! Had to leave a day earlier than expected due to Friday’s strike at Italian airports. Yet, the time spent with friends, colleagues, and new faces was amazing.

Kudos to the organizers for pulling off such a huge event. Grateful to the “Public Opinion and Voting Behaviour in a Comparative Perspective” Standing Group for the chance to discuss my research.

The only downside: didn’t get to explore the city as much as it deserves.

A great panel on "Autocracy and Authoritarianism" and Day 4 at #ecprgc23 is in the books. Glad that I could contribute by presenting some of my work on a three-dimensional conceptualization of Autocratization and its analytical application as well.

I really enjoyed the whole week by now. And definetly, I'm heading home with some very helpful suggestions and a lot of food for thought in my backpack 😊

#Prague is neat and I am here for the #ecprgc23 to tell the people something they didn't know about the use of problem- and solution-oriented #evidence in Swiss #pesticide policy (Thursday 10.45). #TextAsData as usual but first time for me with some fancy #transformer models.

Next week in Prague #ecprgc23 I will present my paper on the effect of online political ads on voters' issue priorities during an election cycle (and vice versa). Also a bit about methods: combining online experience sampling and data donations.
