@dianor Hmm. I admit I have not read the #book. There is the obvious Foucauldian element happening. As someone who comes from that sub-population where #ECT is a very real thing, I find the connections she makes in her video for the book to be rather offensive.

The European Commission has formally proposed a "coordinated and orderly" withdrawal from the Energy Charter Treaty.

The proposed legislation, unveiled on Friday afternoon after days of speculation, would see the European Union and its member states leave the controversial treaty, considered at odds with the Green Deal, at the same time, avoiding the chaos of having individual countries going their own way.

Mr Snu is all packed and ready for hospital tomorrow. We will hear early morning if there’s a bed available for sure. Once he is admitted he’ll be in for at least 2wks. It’s such a bummer, we both have our fingers crossed the ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) will help.

So, when I go back to see my psychiatrist in about a month’s time I need to decide which of the following treatment options to try for #depression:

- #ECT (Electro-Convulsive Therapy)
- #rTMS (rapid Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
- Physical therapy of the neck cervical muscles (this has only been a recent exploratory study, peer-reviewed but with no real control group)

Or none of the above and just continue with the meds I’m on and therapy.

Has anyone had any experience?
