I’ve played around with #memeroute a bit and tried replacing its naive grid-based router with something smarter, but never got further than running a few Delaunay triangulations on the PCB shape. Really excited to see that yours is also in #rust

The ultimate yak shave: to implement its last generation of #LispMachines, Symbolics developed a complete #EDA toolset in #CommonLisp called NS that enabled them to design and verify their ASICs, gate arrays, and boards from architecture to photomasks for manufacturing.

I don't love #KiCad's use of the word "project" given the one-board-one-project limitation, though. Why introduce that implied layer of abstraction? Just call them 'boards' and everyone will know what's up. It seems to lead users down a garden path, expecting the app to do something it doesn't.
