I really dislike how my computer forgets what monitors are connected to each output every time I switch #DisplayPort #KVM outputs (using a Level 1 Techs dual DisplayPort KVM).
Each time I switch back, the second monitor resets to 640x480 in portrait mode.
Unfortunately AMD graphics cards don’t have the option of specifying which #EDID should be used with each output like NVIDIA do.
I’m hoping a DisplayPort repeater/emulator such as this CableMatters one will fix the problem.
